I just swapped to David's toothpaste, but I did not know they had floss! Also, any experience with whether or not the green kitchen trash bags break easily? They've been great for the bath trash. Nervous about trying them otherwise...
How are you liking David’s?? I’m so happy with the switch. Also the branding is such a nice perk! The trash bags have been great for kitchen in my experience but I get your worry!!! You could always try it and see if your kitchen trash is too heavy. ❤️❤️
Excellent list, thank you Lacey. I am doing the same in our household, examining, researching and replacing every product with cleaner, less toxic alternatives. I wish more news of these better products were shared widely.
The site breaks down all ingredients in skincare products AND makes clear recommendations on toxic-free products; a ton of great information which made it easy to replace the whole gamut of skincare products we use, from cleansers to sunscreen.
Pro tip: the site is focused on toxin-free products for pregnant women, but guess what: there’s a ton of research showing the same benefits apply to menopausal skin. Any one of any age can and should use these toxin-free products.
Love this Lola! Thanks for sharing What The Glow! I hadn’t heard of it. Another good one I love that helps discerning women sort through what’s safe for pregnancy (and beyond) is Sorette (https://shopsorette.com). You might like it if you aren’t familiar! 💞
Thank you Lacey. Checking sorette out now and comparing ingredients in their skincare products against the list of safe ingredients from whattheglow. I love it when great resources are shared and make our choices more informed.
Slowly but surely switching over many of my products to better-for-you-brands. We’ve started with kitchen appliances: cast iron and stainless steel pans only :) Thanks for the info Lacey!

Yessss, this is good enough for me to try the bags. Thanks for the quick reply. I have noticed a difference in my teeth. They're more...polished.
It’s so fun to detox your home! I already use one of the healthy swaps in each category and love these recs! 🧼 💓🧚♀️
Great minds! 💞💞

With that in mind, here’s a great resource I stumbled upon: https://whattheglow.com
